BEST YEAR

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 2010-2011 school year at Brownwood Elementary. Our faculty and staff have worked tirelessly in preparation  for your child's BEST YEAR. In my 24 years as a teacher and administrator, I am certain this is the best start to a school year that I have ever experienced. Teaching and learning are well under way. Our students are engaged in high quality instruction from a dedicated faculty that is focused on the success of all students.

As the school year gets underway, I want to remind you that Brownwood is your school and we welcome your involvement. Our faculty and staff recognize that parents are their childs first teacher. Your involvement and cooperation are essential to provide your child with the best possible education. Take time to talk to your children about their school experiences. Your interest and concern will motivate them to do their best. Maintain contact with your child's teacher.
