I am originally from Ider, AL (on Sand Mtn. about 30 minutes from Scottsboro). I moved to Scottsboro in 1990 when my mother remarried. I am a 1998 graduate of Scottsboro High School and a 2001 graduate of Athens State University. I have recently obtained my Master's degree in Library Media. I have taught various grade levels including 3rd grade at Brownwood and 5th/6th grade at Collins Intermediate. My husband, Hunter Holland, is also an educator. He teaches at DAR High School. We have two children, Cathryn Adair, who is 11 and starting 6th grade this year and Hunt, who is 7 years old and starting 2nd grade. We have 2 cats, Lucy and Sassy, and 3 dogs, Chloe, Lola, & Jack. My hobbies include reading, walking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
