I grew up as a minister's daughter, therefore we lived in various locations - St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Florida, Georgia and finally Alabama. We moved to Alabama my junior year in high school and Scottsboro became our home.
I am married to Bobby Atkins. We have four children, a wonderful daughter-in-love and grandson. Bobby and I have been married for eighteen years, we attend The Rock Family Worship Center - Scottsboro. We are active in various church ministries and serve as the worship pastors.
I enjoy spending time with my family, singing, cooking, and reading. I am blessed to be a part of the Brownwood Staff serving the needs of the student body. My position as Speech/Language Pathologist is very rewarding by providing remediation for disorders such as articulation, language, fluency and voice. I count it a privilege that I play a role in helping students become effective communicators.
