Brownwood Elementary School

I am a 1989 graduate of Scottsboro High School.  I attended Jacksonville State University, Northeast Alabama State Junior College, Athens State University, and the University of West Alabama.  I graduated in 1992 from Athens State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education.  I obtained Highly Qualified Status for grades one through six in 2007.  I obtained my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama in 2012.  (I started school as a Brownwood Beaver!)

My name is Stacy Warren.  I am married to my wonderful husband, John, and we have two beautiful children, Emma and Jonah.  Emma is fifteen years old and is a high school sophomore. (Where did the time go?)  Jonah is twelve years old and is in seventh grade. (Jr. High!!!)  We enjoy spending time together as a family, attending Center Point Baptist Church and participating in our church's activities, swimming, water skiing, wake boarding, playing sports, and watching Alabama football (Roll Tide!).  I taught first grade for eight years and then became a stay at home mom.  I was totally out of the classroom for six years while my children were small.  I am thrilled to be back in the classroom and especially here at Brownwood.  It's true--Brownwood is the best school in town!
